SMARTstart Friends,

What a wonderful time last week celebrating our three SMARTstart Entrepreneur of Year finalists at the Pasco EDC 37th Annual Awards. The honorees were Joe Abreu with Abreu Environmental, Keary Simms with Dre's Island Food Services, and Andria Roscart with The ABL.

It was very hard as the Program Director, to watch, as I deeply wanted all three of them to win. But in the end, the winner was Andria Roscart. We are so proud of her turning a dream into a real, brick and mortar location, hiring employees, and producing a product. But even more than that, she has built a community within a community in downtown Dade City.

Andria opened her brick-and-mortar business in 2024 after building out her facility located in the heart of downtown Dade City. It combines Andria’s dream of creating a place to get quality beer while spending time with friends and family. Andria learned how to start and grow a business utilizing knowledge gained as a graduate of the SMARTstart CO.STARTERS program. She applied this knowledge to open her facility and expand her business.
